❄️Snow is so much more fun when it happens with your friends at school ❄️

You may think that learning stops during lunch, but that is not true. Even when Mrs. Allison is sharing the joke of the day, she teaches our students. Today, she discussed two vocabulary words with our kindergarten and first grade students - UNIQUE and TAME. Ask them if they remember the definitions 💚 If they don't, take a moment to reteach, when students have strong vocabularies, they have higher reading comprehension.

Every Monday, Mrs. Elyssa leads a number talk in the library for this group of 4th graders. This is a great time to jumpstart and enrich Math WIN time each week.

Congratulations to last week's Classes of the Week!

We saw students this week reach 100% positivity for the first time this school year - we are so proud of them, and we are super proud of these students who were announced this morning as Students of the Week.

Mrs. Aspen spent the day with our 5th Grade Honor Choir at Murray State University. They worked with other students in our area all day to present a special performance this evening.

Mrs. Sarah's class had 100% positive behaviors last week!!

Congratulations to our Green Devil students who were recognized on Friday!

Please join us! Our 5th graders have worked so hard on a special morning recognizing veterans within our community.

Team Ultra will NOT meet on Thursday, November 7th.

Mrs. Terry made a mistake on the spinning wheel and two classes in the primary hall were awarded Class of the Week honors. They both worked very hard this past week, so it is still well deserved. They both reached 98% positivity.

Halloween week is a hard week to maintain self-control in an elementary school, so we are extra proud of these Students of the Week! 💚

The Sharpe Elementary School Parade of Costumes will go on as scheduled. The trunk or treat parade will take place in our car rider lot. All registered "trunks" are asked to be in a spot ready to go by 9AM. Officer Jeff and other staff members will guide you to a parking spot for the parade. Please be prepared with candy for 300 students. Our students will walk through with their teachers. Family members will NOT be allowed to walk in the parade. This event is ONLY for Sharpe students. If you are bringing a sibling or cousin, please keep the child with you and at our spot. Thank you for being a part of this event!

Please stop by today to celebrate Mrs. Heidi Outland. She has served Sharpe well over the years, and we will miss her!

Team Ultra will NOT meet on Thursday (Oct. 31).

Reading fluency is important for our students to grow in reading comprehension.
