Today is School Resource Officer Day, and we have one of the best!
Green Devil alum, Landon Nall, is always so good to our students as they load their bus in the afternoons. This afternoon, I caught him giving high fives to each of them. He is a really big deal to our kids.
This class has been working really hard to attain a goal they set, and they got to celebrate this afternoon after achieving their goal!
It is so important to be kind. It's important to be kind as adults, it's important to be kind as children. The simple act of kindness truly makes life better for those around us. Our students talked a lot about kindness during Wellness Wednesday and participated in activities to share kindness.
Attendance is really important. Stay healthy and make school a priority for future success. Keep those fevers at home, though!

Mrs. Sarah's son visited with our 2nd graders on the playground this afternoon. It's always fun to have one of our Green Devils back for a visit. #onceaGreenDevilalwaysaGreenDevil
So many great things happening in 2nd grade! Mrs. Tana's class used their sand trays today during phonics work.
You know we have special teachers when the seniors remember their elementary teachers and choose to honor them on Senior Salute Night. We are so proud of Green Devils, Alex Staples and Ian Kidd, and thankful to have amazing teachers like Mrs. McClard and Mrs. Blair Mathis.
We have added a new monthly award at Sharpe, the High Attendance Class award. It is really important that our students make attendance a priority when they are healthy. Strong attendance leads to stronger academic success. This month's traveling trophy goes to Mrs. Moungers 4th grade class!
