These students have been working on a special cereal project that included developing a new cereal and marketing it. This morning, they got to be with others on the north end of the district that have been doing the same work and present to one another. We love their creativity!

These amazing educators were honored tonight at the Regional Educators Awards & Scholarship Program.

We found out that Mr. Todd speaks a bit of German, so he is teaching us how to count.

Students in 3rd grade participated in a gallery walk today, exploring different ways to create an arrangement of tiles with a perimeter of 10 linear units (like tables with 10 chairs). Talk with your child about how the arrangements can have the same perimeter but different areas. Great work!

Have these things lying around your home?

Our preschoolers got to visit kindergarten this week, and the teachers were very impressed.

A couple of our classes are involved in a curriculum pilot for Social Emotional Learning. Mrs. Sarah's class is one of those and Mrs. Terry got to do their Life Skills Lesson this afternoon. They practiced visualization skills to create a Gallery of Courage that shows each student engaging in something new and COURAGEOUS. Ask them about their goals! We had everything from trying asparagus to conquering a back handspring and even overcoming a fear of clowns.

Mrs. Emily's students were amazing during Number Corner this afternoon! They rocked telling time and counting money!

We love Mr. Todd's high fives in the afternoon!

Brody asked if he could take care of the weeds growing in the memorial and recruited a friend to help. They gave up their recess yesterday to work on this project. This is what it means to be a Green Devil. 💚

Students in Mrs. Sarah's class have been rocking it in math!

Classes of the Week

Proud of these students for positive behaviors this week!

Way to go to Green Devil alum, Adley Poole!
