District-wide initiative running November 2–6 will collect non-perishable food donations for Marshall County Caring Needline.
BENTON, Ky. — Marshall County Schools is inviting students, staff, and community members to join together and "Stuff the Truck" during a district-wide food drive taking place Monday, November 2, through Friday, November 6. All items collected during the week-long campaign will be delivered directly to Marshall County Caring Needline to support local families in need during the upcoming holiday season.
Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off during regular school hours at any public school building within the district, as well as at the Marshall County Board of Education office. At the end of the collection drive, the district will collect all donations and deliver them to Needline for distribution.
"Every donation makes a real difference," School Superintendent Bill Thorpe said. "Together, we can ensure no family in our community goes without during the holidays. We deeply appreciate the continued generosity of our students, staff, and neighbors. Let's 'Stuff the Truck' and show what Marshall County can do when we pull together to support one another."
