The Marshall County School District is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $6,000 grant from the WHAS Crusade for Children to support the purchase of specialized equipment that will enhance learning opportunities and accessibility for students with disabilities.
The grant funding will be used to purchase a combination of essential adaptive equipment,such as iPads with protective cases, TD Snap communication software, and Gyro Chairs. These resources will help students improve communication, increase independence, support sensory and physical needs, and promote greater participation in both classroom instruction and recreational activities.
"We are grateful to the WHAS Crusade for Children for their continued commitment to improving educational opportunities for students with special needs," said Kevin Stephens, Director of Special Education. "This funding will provide valuable tools that help ensure every student has access to the resources they need to learn, communicate, and thrive."
