Deegan Croley signs track & field scholarship at Bellemine Univ.

The Marshall Co. High School Athletics Department and Boys Track program recently announced that Deegan Croley is signing with Bellarmine University, where he will compete for Head Coach Emma Peterson. Bellarmine is a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference (NCAA D1). Deegan has competed for the Marshall County High School Track and Field and Cross Country program for four years. In his time at Marshall County, Deegan holds both the school records in Shot Put (59’9.5”) and Discus (172’2”). Deegan is a 2x Outdoor State Champion, an Indoor State Champion, 3x Regional Champion sweeping both the Shot and Disc, and earned First Team All-State, First Team All-Area 1, and First Team All-Area 1 Class 3A Distinctions.

Deegan is thrilled to continue the sport that he has loved for many years while furthering his education. He epitomizes what track and field is all about. He loves his craft, and his dedication is unparalleled.

Deegan also holds many other Hall of Fame Performances at Marshall County, including: Indoor Shot School Recorder Holder, 2nd All Time farthest throw in Weight, 2nd and 4th All Time in combined Shot Put, 3rd All Time in combined Discus, and he still holds the School Freshmen Records for both Shot Put and Discus.

Many have helped Deegan along the way, whom he wishes to thank, including all his teammates, his parents, Josh and Misty Croley, his friends, and all of his coaches.
