Marshall County High School is pleased to announce that Lillian Perry has been chosen as this year's University of Louisville Yarmuth Book Award winner!
Each year, the University of Louisville recognizes outstanding juniors across the State of Kentucky and Southern Indiana that show academic promise, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to civic engagement.
This award is endowed by the family of Mr. John Yarmuth, who is a graduate of Yale, a successful businessman and more recently, was the 3rd District Congressman for the state of Kentucky. The award was created as a way to honor their father for providing their family with one of the greatest gifts of all—the desire to learn. Each award recipient demonstrates this desire to learn through their various academic and extracurricular activities while excelling in the top 20% of his or her class.
