Wide shot of students at Female Leadership Forum

Female students from across the Marshall County School District attended the 5th annual Female Leadership Forum March 18th at the Rustic Ridge Event Center.

The event is hosted by the MCHS Student Leadership Class and brings together gifted females in grades 4-12 for a day of activities that require creative thinking, effective communication and collaboration, and teamwork.

The Leadership students start planning for the forum months in advance, discussing possible venues, meals, themes and decorations, activities, and sponsorships.

Girls attending the forum represent a wide range of giftedness in areas such as general intellectual and academic ability, creativity, leadership, and visual/performing arts.

The forum's keynote speaker was Benton Mayor Rita Dotson.

Thanks to all of the local businesses who helped sponsor this event. Your support is vital in the success of our students.
