MCHS senior Ryan Stokes will continue his golfing career with John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois.
Ryan has been a 6 year player for the Marshall County golf program. A standout golfer in Western Kentucky since his middle school days, Ryan has always been know for hitting the ball with great distance and for having the ability to shoot low numbers As he has gotten older, Ryan has developed consistency in his game, which led to him becoming one of the most talented golfers in the state by his junior year.
As a senior in the 2025 season, Ryan was ranked 1st in the state in All-State points for four consecutive weeks. He placed 1st in six tournaments, with his lowest round being a 5 under-par, 67. During his high school career, Ryan compiled nine tournament victories, was named to the first-team All-Region five times, and to the second-team All-State two times.
