MCHS FCCLA members Adelyn Tubbs and Zaysha Huff have officially submitted their National FCCLA STAR Event Digital Stories for Change project "Balance Tech. Build Connection." This event challenges students to identify a real-world issue, research it, and create a digital story that raises awareness and encourages positive change through Family and Consumer Sciences.

"I am incredibly proud of the time, creativity, and leadership they demonstrated throughout this process," said FCCLA advisor Lydia Smith. "Their project reflects strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a genuine commitment to making an impact in their communities."

Smith also extended a thank you to teacher Chad Darnall for allowing Adelyn and Zaysha to utilize media resources and equipment throughout this project, as well as to Mechelle Gattis for supporting students by posting items on the school website. Their collaboration played a key role in the success of these submissions.
