Marshall County High School took home first place at the 55th Annual Murray State Chemistry Scholarship Tournament on Thursday.
Senior Blake Harper along with juniors Scarlett Gardner, Ayen Arceo, and Lilli Perry competed in the Upper Division level of competition. Scarlett Gardner earned the top spot on the exam scoring 1st among all the students at the tournament. Gardner earned $200 cash and a $800 MSU scholarship. Blake Harper earned 3rd place among all the students and went home with $100 cash and a $400 MSU scholarship. The team took home 1st place overall, earning $200 for the chemistry department.
