This year, the annual Sharpe Elememtary 5th grade Veterans Day ceremony became part of the community program at Mike Miller Park.
The students welcomed veterans to the park by lining the entrance with homemade signs. The students also participated in the program at the Veterans Plaza by singing the National Anthem and The Branches Song.
What a nice way to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation.
