The Lady Marshals golf team has advanced to next week's state tournament after finishing third in Monday's Substate at the Calvert City Golf and Country Club.
The Lady Marshals were led by Trinity Beth, whose five under par 67 gave her the individual title, five srokes ahead of the second place finisher. The Lady Marshals finished with a combined score of 326, five shots behind the winner Bowling Green, and just three shots behind second place finisher Daviess County.
The team will now compete in next week's state tournament in Bowling Green.
