Marshall County Food Service is excited to announce that we will be participating in the Summer Feeding Program. There will be 8 sites across Marshall County that will serve lunch —to all children (ages 1-18) free of charge.
Students from Chastity West's and Kelly Edwards's discovery classroom at Jonathan Elementary School presented a project to the Marshall County Fiscal Court. This PBL Unit asked kids what would be the best addition to Mike Miller park to serve our community. Judge Foust met with students several times and gave feedback on ideas. Students present to the Judge Kevin Neal and our county commissioners. They suggested an outdoor movie amphitheater, a dog park, bike trails, county swimming pool, football field, bumper cars, and several more ideas.

This letter is to inform you that Marshall County Health Department is investigating two documented flu outbreaks in the community. Sadly, four individuals have died within the past forty-eight hours due to complications of the flu. This has prompted us to reach out to our school system to help us get our public health message to parents.
