Students from Sharpe Elementary are in Washington D.C. visiting several landmarks, including the Pentagon, Air Force, World War II, US Marine Corps, and the National Law Enforcement Memorials.
The 5th graders also visited Arlington National Cemetery, where they attending a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Four of those students were chosen to participate in the ceremony, which honors U.S. veterans and members of the armed forces.
