The Marshall County boys basketball team fell to Adair County in an opening round game of the Boys Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament today at Rupp Arena in Lexington. The Marshals trailed by just seven points at halftime, 31 to 24. But Adair County pulled away in the end, winning 72 to 55.
The Marshals had three players in double figures. Alex Staples had 13 points to lead the way in scoring, followed by Matthew Langhi with 12 and Logan Parker with 11. Parker also had 11 rebounds for the Marshals.
Thanks to everyone who supported the Marshals this season. It's certainly been one to remember. So proud!
