Special Services

Welcome to Special Services
The Marshall County Schools Special Services Department includes a team of professionals who work through out our district to implement programs which support students with special needs.  These professionals include Special Education Teachers, Speech/Language Pathologists, Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Teacher of the Blind/Visually Impaired, Orientation and Mobility Instructor, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, School Psychologists, and Educational Consultants. Special education services are available to eligible students age 3-21.

Our special education staff collaborates with parents, administrators, general education teachers, district support staff and when appropriate, community service providers to ensure that each child’s unique educational needs are met in the least restrictive environment possible.

We believe that all students can be successful and that our job is to serve as the catalyst for this success. We thank you for entrusting us with your most valuable possession, your child.

Please feel free to contact our office with questions, concerns, or additional ideas to improve this website.
