A Preschool/Head Start classroom is located within each of the six elementary schools in the Marshall County School System.
Each class has morning and afternoon sessions.
Each class may enroll 17 students and is led by a certified Early Childhood Education teacher along with a classroom assistant who holds a Child Development Associate Degree.
The Preschool curriculum encompasses the areas of cognitive, language, physical, and social/emotional development.
Nutritional meals are served during each session.
Family support includes parent involvement activities, parent trainings, parent commitee meetings, socialization events, and community resources.
