"Attendance Program" -Students receive recognition on bulletin board for attendance each 9 weeks
"Character Learning" - Each month, different classes or grades will complete worksheets on the 6 different Character traits and they will be recognized by hanging the worksheets on the bulletin board in the school.
"Dollars & Sense program" - for 5th grade students to learn about the difference between wants and needs and budgeting money. Co-Sponsored by CFSB
"Good News from School Postcards" -Teachers fill out postcards to students/parents for student recognition
"Open House" at both schools
"Ready, Set, Go! Kindergarten Transition" - prepares parents/students for upcoming kindergarten school year
"Tutoring/Mentoring Program" -pairs students with mentors from community
BASIC NEEDS –
Assistance or referrals for help with clothing, food, utility bills, etc.
Annual “Coats for Kids” in need of winter coat, parents fill out a form from our newsletter to receive a free coat for their school age children.
“Back to School Bash” providing free school supplies for all Marshall County students and information on other agencies in Marshall County. Co-Sponsored by Marshall Co. Family Resource Centers, M.C. Health Dept. & various business/agencies in our county.
“Santa Project” for families in need for the holidays. Co-Sponsored by various churches, businesses, and individuals in the community who donate to this cause.
"Weekend Food Assistance Program" for children in our schools. They will receive a sack filled with snacks to eat over the weekends during the school year. Various churches/organizations donate to this program.

“Baby Gift Bags” for new and expecting mothers - Co-sponsored by Early Childhood Council Graves/Marshall Co.
"Community Baby Shower" for new/expecting parents - Co-sponsored by MC Health Dept, MC FRC's, Early Childhood Council.
Referrals to Marshall County Agencies – WIC, Preschool/Headstart, M.C. Health Dept.

“Girls Night Out” for 4th & 5th grade girls and their mothers regarding growing up and puberty. Co-Sponsored by Marshall Co. Health Dept.
Referrals for Lions Club Eye Care
“University of Kentucky Mobile Dental Program” – Screenings and Treatments for children in our schools (KG-5th gr.) Also provides dental sealants and fluoride varnish to (2nd grade-5th grade) students each year.

Dad's Breadfast / Mom's Breakfast - promotes family literacy and time spent together

"Summer Reading Program" - Co-sponsored by JSFRC and MC Public Library (Hardin Branch) provides incentives and rewards for completing summer reading program through the public library system in Marshall county.
“Take Home Skills Bags” for Math (Addition/Subtraction; Multiplication/Division; Counting Money) and English (Grammar & Reading Comprehension). Folders with worksheets for 1st through 5th grade students.
